2.2 Creating your OSM account

Before you can start mapping, you must first create an OpenStreetMap account. To do so, nothing is simpler:

• Go to the website OpenStreetMap, and click on the Sign Up button at the top right corner of the screen. Fill-in the required information.
• After that, don’t forget to confirm your e-mail address (the address used during the registration), a confirmation e-mail has been sent to you to confirm your account creation.
