Once you are clear on why you are collecting data, you need to determine your data collection method(s) for your survey. Mobile data collection is just one of several methods, which has its advantages but also its limitations and shortcomings. This section aims to help you determine if this method is suitable for your data needs, resources and survey contexts.

Keep in mind that it is advised to combine combine collection methods to cross-reference your results and refine your analysis. For example, you could hold focus group discussions with the populations you are interested in, or more in-depth interviews with key informants.
